WHERE ARE WE?
Oyster Island is located 200 metres off of the east coast of Espiritu Santo, the largest island in Vanuatu. A real life paradise, with several untouched white sand beaches, beautiful coral reefs, and varied marine life just outside the front door of your waterfront bungalow. Upon landing in Santo, we are a short 20 minute drive from the airport and then a 2 minute boat ride across calm/sheltered waters.
VANUATU EXPERIENCE
Oyster Island is not your typical resort. Rather than focussing on the frills, we deliver the quality of genuine Vanuatu experience for our guests. Everything from accommodation to food to our many activities reflects the “soft adventure” nature of our private paradise. Our staff and management teams have experienced much of what Vanuatu has to offer, and are able to give a true view of local experiences. You could not wish for a better guide to accompany you to some of the native farms and villages! On the other hand, if you simply want to relax on a beach with no one around, we have plenty of options without you ever having to leave Oyster Island.
Our guests experience authentic island lodging consisting of 11 units, from our ultra traditional Frangipani units to exotic, thatched roof Deluxe Bamboo Bungalows. All units are directly on the water, and have private balconies/decks. We are the only resort on Oyster Island, guaranteeing our guests the ultimate in total relaxation.
